I’m sure you can related to me as I heard the knock on my bedroom door. My youngest daughter, Faith, couldn’t fall asleep and she came to me for answers. The problem was, I didn’t want to snuggle at that moment. I wanted to protect my boundaries and get a bit of rest before starting anew in the morning. But, as I accepted her into my mother’s embrace, as I held her soft hand and felt her lean into me with ultimate trust and love, I felt an energy flow between us that can only come from being in the moment. It was powerful, calming and investing. I am sure I got more energy from that one moment than I did from a whole night of sleep.
