Responding in Diversity Conversations. I know I gave you a few “don’t” in the video, but those responses are very normal when you want to make a point, or ensure you are heard.

1. How do you normally respond to tense moments in diversity conversations*? Choose your most often used response. *

o Try to create a connection by relating their circumstances to your own situation.

o Use the vulnerable moment to ask personal questions.
