5 ways to show up for your success!
We have it backwards. Most of us spend at least part of our life, if not all, thinking that WE are here and the success is this elusive dance partner constantly slipping out of our fingers.
It’s backwards.
Here’s the truth: Your success is as stable, whole and tangible as you are.
Think about it for a second. If you wanted to start a business, everything you need to begin is most likely already in existence. You just need to put the pieces together and begin. The customers are waiting. The inter webs is humming.
If you wanted to find a special someone to love, I’m pretty sure that “someone” is already born, working and living and existing. You just need to lay eyes on them.
If you wanted to accelerate your business and increase your revenue, you don’t have to go to the money store and create more money, or go to the money tree to grab some dollars. Those billions and trillions and gazillions of dollars are already out there. Your job is to put your name on a few of them.
And on the business tip: let’s not forget that consumers STRUGGLE to keep money in their pocket. It’s not hanging on to it that is the problem. The big question is, do they know about your product or service.
Your success is already available, in existence, and waiting for you.
It’s your job to show up.
So here’s 5 ways you can show up for your success. Are you ready? If you are feeling victimized, this may not be your blog post. But if you are OVER-READY to change your frequency to a higher level, read on!
-
ONE: You know what success looks like.
When you show up for success, you are the decisive customer. You have already made your purchases. You aren’t still “shopping” for your vision. You are committed and ready to use what you have for the purpose you have chosen. Success can be different things for every person, but every successful person has chosen what their success looks like.
-
TWO: You know what you need to do every day.
Now you have chosen your focus and you choose your path. It’s not enough to want a “lot of money,” and then hustle to get it. You only have so much time in the day and you are intentionally and mindfully choosing actions you will repeat with consistency and persistence. You may not be able to see success on the second day or the fourteenth day, but you have decided what you will do and you are certain success is on your path.
-
THREE: You do it anyway.
The excuses are many on the path to success. Otherwise, everyone would get what they want. Most of those reasons aren’t bad—it’s the kids, the finances, the time crunches—that keep you from those actions you committed to. Showing up for success literally means, showing up. No matter what is happening in your day, you do it anyway. In fact, sometimes that’s all you are doing, fitting your actions in at the end of the day, or before anyone normal wakes up.
-
FOUR: You know when to say yes.
Let’s get real my friend—as good at planning as you may be, you haven’t thought of everything. When an opportunity shows up to further your vision, you say yes. You check your schedule, you check your purpose and you either say no, I have other things to do. Or, you say yes and you thank God there is something divine happening in your world.
-
FIVE: You fail and fail and fail.
Grownups like us have a hard time with this one. Failure. On social media, it’s even worse. You try and fail and the rest of the peanut gallery, those people who AREN’T showing up for success get their popcorn and tea and watch your life go down. But here’s the thing: they don’t realize you aren’t really failing, you are simply learning. In fact, the faster you fail, the closer you get to what you are purposed to experience.
Remember, showing up for success is you, putting on your gear and plunging into the story called your life. Your success is ready, waiting for you. All you need to do is point your attention and action in the direction of your purpose, and move.
The rest will certainly fall into place!
