Together School

Have you checked out your social media lately? I have one thing to say: there is no shortage of opinions about what to believe.

  • Some think the diversity issues in our community are no big deal.
  • Others think we are looking at the wrong issue.
  • Still others feel completely oppressed or worse, forgotten.
  • Then there are those who just want it to all go away.
  • Pretty much everyone feels overwhelmed at some point in the day, every day.

Where are you in this spectrum? I would go out on a limb and make a prediction—it’s pretty much impossible NOT to be affected by the dialogue.

No matter what your perspective, this is an opportunity to get real, be vulnerable, and reduce the stress and anxiety around the diversity, equity and inclusion challenges in our daily lives. It’s time to throw political correctness out the window and get down to the business of KNOWING how to interact well with one another, and BEING the support and ally and teacher your community needs.

Together School is about getting your hands dirty and learning to develop your own ideas about diversity and differences. I’m not here to tell you what to think, only to help you figure out what you think and then offer you ways to strengthen your personal platform.

Each block below is a session. When you click on the block, you will enter a session which has a 5-10 minute video, a worksheet, a challenge and a list of resources. It is not intended to be a difficult or time-consuming process, but rather provide encouragement and instruction to create a personal diversity platform and navigate differences more effectively.

The first session, “How to respond well in diversity convos,” is open for your review. Other sessions are available upon request. Just e-mail me at liz@neadinspiration.com for the password and let’s chat!

If you don’t see a solution for the issues you are facing. No problem—we are happy to create the content you need. Thank you!
