This is what people are saying about The 1440 Principle!
The book came in the mail today and I’ve finished the 1st 4 chapters just now. Your willingness to open up about your life is amazing. I have come to many of the same realizations about the value of time (although at a considerably later stage in life). Your message is additional validation of the lessons I’ve learned.
I spent 12 hours tonight at work and as i do, found myself in dialogue with another nurse, about 15 years older, who HATES her job, HATES where our county is going…. we spent quite a bit of time discussing life and where we are frustrated/disgusted/challenged…. then i picked up your book and sat waiting for change of shift reading through and described your concept of the gift of time / value of time and asked her if she would give $720 back to our hospital ($1 for each minute on the clock) and she simply said hell no…
Just finished your book! Loved it. It’s got me thinking about choices I make and how to be more intentional with those choices. I need to document my top three things to focus on. Will do that tomorrow and can share when we get together next. So much applicability for my family….and things we try to instill in our children. Thanks so much for writing it! I could hear your voice as I read ❤️
Your book is a gift. Literally. I made it through Chapter 4 this morning and decided. As I get ready this morning for a meeting with a young man distraught and floundering, I was planning to give him a book (The Obstacle is the Way). But now he gets two – one of them being “The 1440…” If I whittle it back to one, he will get “The 1440”. As for myself, I’ve already ordered another copy. Good stuff, Liz. If I may say so – I’m proud of you!
I have finally had a moment to start your book and while I am not done yet I just wanted to say you are an incredible writer and storyteller. You should be so proud!!
